Our plant in New Mexico is state of the art and we are preparing for a major expansion. We are seeking Machine Operator who will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring extrusion lines to produce wire and cable product, specially in the insulation area for both shifts day and night.
Duties
Insulation Area:
- Operate extrusion machinery to apply insulation material to wire conductors according to production requirements.
- Set and adjust machine parameter such as temperature, pressure, and line speed for optimum result.
- Record machine setting production output, and any deviation in process log.
- Coordinate with quality control for sample testing and verification.
Jacketing Area:
- Operate extrusion equipment to apply protective outer jackets to finished wires or cables.
- Monitor line performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain desired jacket dimensions and surface finish.
- Handle product reel changes safely and maintain continuous production flow.
- Assist with die and screen cleaning, lubrication, and basic equipment maintenance.
Skills
- PVC material knowledge and extrusion principles.
- Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance understanding.
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Properly utilize all required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
Physical & Work Requirements
- Standing and walking for most of the shift in a production environment
- Ability to lift or move material weighing up to 50 lbs
- Availability for rotating shift, weekends and overtime as needed.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Works in a standard office environment and a heavy industrial manufacturing plant.
- Must be available to respond to critical equipment failures or emergencies outside of normal business hours, including nights and weekends.
- May be required to be on-call on a rotating basis.

Material Handler
Job Overview
Our plant in New Mexico is state of the art and we are preparing for a major expansion. We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler to be a vital part of our manufacturing operations during the night shift. This role is responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout the entire production cycle, from receiving raw materials to supplying production lines, and managing finished goods. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player who ensures our manufacturing teams have what they need, when they need it.
Duties
Material Movement & Logistics:
- Load and unload raw materials and supplies from delivery trucks in a timely and safe manner.
- Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to transport materials.
- Supply production lines with necessary materials while adhering to all traffic and pedestrian safety protocols.
- Move finished products from production lines to designated storage or shipping areas.
- Prepare finished goods for shipment by packing, labeling, and staging products.
Inventory & Organization:
- Perform receiving duties by verifying shipment accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
- Conduct cycle counts and participate in periodic physical inventories.
- Maintain organized storage areas for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods, ensuring aisles and exits are clear.
- Ensure all materials are properly identified and labeled.
Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, with a strict emphasis on forklift operation rules, including speed limits, proper loading, and horn use at intersections.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on the forklift and other equipment; report any defects or issues immediately.
- Always wear seatbelts when operating a sit-down forklift.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards, quality issues, or damaged materials.
- Uphold 5S standards to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
